Appointment of bishop of the Holy Protection of Mary Byzantine Catholic eparchy of Phoenix

The Holy Father has appointed the Reverend Artur Bubnevych, of the clergy of Holy Protection of Mary Byzantine Catholic eparchy of Phoenix, United States of America, until now parish priest of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help parish in Albuquerque, New Mexico, as bishop of the same eparchy.

Bishop-elect Bubnevych will be enthroned on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Annunciation Byzantine Catholic Church in Anaheim, California.
