Bishop Emeritus | Proto Syncellus

His Grace, Gerald Nicholas Dino, DD. Is the Bishop Emeritus and the current Protosynchellus of the Eparchy of Phoenix.

Born in Binghamton, New York. He was ordained a priest for the Eparchy of Passaic on March 21, 1965. On March 27, 2008 he was consecrated the fourth Bishop of the Eparchy of Van Nuys. In February of 2010, Bishop Gerald petitioned the Holy See to transfer the Eparchy from Van Nuys to Phoenix. On May 20, 2016 Bishop Gerald became the Protosynchellus of the Eparchy of Phoenix.
